Handling the Paper Shade

When opening the box containing the paper shaded, make sure you are wearing gloves. The packaging styles may vary, but carefully handle the product in the same manner. Do not put your hands into the box to grab the shade. Remove the shade by first removing packing materials, then using the wrapping to carefully pull the shade out of the box. Only handle the paper polyhedron from the top, it is the only hard surface- the other sides are delicate. Carefully open up the wrapping and discard, as shown. If you need to set the polyhedron down, only set it done onto a clean surface and only onto the front or top faces of the polyhedron. The other sides are rounded and the shade may roll off the table.
